Visiting Mr. Green

Visiting Mr. Green at Unity Theatre in Brenham, Texas

This is the play I recently directed at Unity Theatre in Brenham. The production featured Ryan Schabach as Ross and Ralph Ehntholt as Mr. Green. Production stills were provided by Scott Hill of Brenham Portrait Gallery.

Roamin’ Romania, a photobook chronicling my year in Romania as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, is available on Amazon.com.

Crossing Europe

Crossing Europe

I just finished a six-week journey across Europe to Romania, where I now am serving as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar for the 2016-2017 academic year. During the fall term, I’ll be in Bucharest, teaching at the University of Bucharest and at the National University of Theatre and Cinematography; during the spring term, I’ll be in Cluj, teaching at Babeș-Bolyai University.

May Break

May Break in Belize

For my May break before summer school, I spent 10 days in Belize, a former British colony (British Honduras) in Central America, and still a member of the Commonwealth. For me, this was a personal retreat: nothing planned other than reading, writing, and contemplation. Belize City is an inexpensive and direct two-hour flight from Houston, and a trip to this serene country can be quite budget friendly, if you stay away from the touristy stuff.
